Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and enhance customer engagement.
    • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Website Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day management of our e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
    • Collaborate with web developers and designers to optimize website functionality, design, and performance.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Product Management:
    • Work closely with the product development and inventory teams to manage online product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
    • Implement and manage promotional campaigns, discounts, and special offers.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Enhance the online shopping experience by implementing best practices in customer service, user interface design, and website navigation.
    • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Shopify Analytics) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate detailed reports on website traffic, sales, and customer behavior.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce and digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
    • Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including payment processors, logistics providers, and marketing agencies.
    • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure optimal terms and conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the high-end retail or homeware industry.
  • Proven track record of driving significant e-commerce growth and achieving substantial sales targets.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including advanced SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media tactics.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), and advanced analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for website design and navigation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for homeware products and the retail industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with international e-commerce operations and cross-border logistics.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning for personalized shopping experiences.
  • Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in omnichannel retail strategy and execution.
  • Expertise in using CRM systems to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
